Tell us about your current web pursuit(s)
Taking a break from contracting to moneytize a small portfolio of domain names before they burn a hole through my pocket and my budget. (despite what people tell you, unmoneytized domains are an expense, not an asset! sob...I just need more time captain! )
Anything else you feel the network should know?
Between contracts I write software for a small portfolio of premium domain names that I own and manage. I experiment with new open source projects as often as possible partnering with friends and collegues on projects to build test "reference" architectures.
Often I'll have a domain name with direct type in traffic that's well suited to seeing how a community (albeit small) react to new concepts, and that's a real buzz, because that's when you *really get it!*
Working on micro projects I've learnt how to keep costs down, risks low and coding frameworks simple, and oh, that's where I fell in love with JQuery. [ txs to Gary Hodgson for introducing me to this lifesaver.]
Specialties:In addition to being a hands on developer, I have marketing, sales and management experience.
Technical skills are : LINQ, ASP.NET, Ajax, C#, Web Services, Javascript, SQL, XML, JQuery, Watin, NUnit, MBUnit
